On the "seam" between East and West Jerusalem, located by the OLIVE TREE, and AMERICAN COLONY hotels, the Addar hotel was originally designed as a boutique all-suite hotel. It has retained its elegant intimacy, but created some regular guest rooms as well. The red marble floor, gilded columns, wooden lattices, wrought-iron work, and plush burgundy upholstery of the lobby could have been gaudy, but manage to be stylish instead.
	The Addar Hotel is an exclusive family run boutique hotel owned by Jerusalem's oldest and best known family. The historic 19^th century building was completely rebuilt as a hotel with the highest standards in 1997 retaining the original entrance and façade. Since its opening, Addar offers the largest-sized hotel rooms in the city, all with balconies and/or French windows.

The location of this hotel is excellent for both East and West Jerusalem. It is just off road # 1 that leads from the Old City to French Hill, and the Northern part of the city, is next door to the Moriah Classic, Olive Tree and American Colony hotels. It's a stone's throw from the Old City, and short walking distance to the New ( West ) city.
